A Quick Intro Call is the shortest, cheapest thing on your page: fifteen minutes, free, no real decision required. Its entire job is to exist as a yes nobody has to think twice about, which is a narrower purpose than it sounds and easy to accidentally expand past.
What it is for
This is a filter, not a sales call. Somebody curious but not yet convinced books this instead of bouncing off your page entirely. It answers one question for them, is this person worth more of my time, and answers one for you, is this a real lead. Nothing else needs to happen in fifteen minutes.
Keep it at fifteen minutes, on purpose
Fifteen forces both sides to get to the point and protects your calendar from becoming a free consulting clinic. If you notice these calls consistently running long and turning into real conversations, that is a signal to add a proper Discovery Call as the next rung rather than stretching this one.
Name it plainly
Quick Intro Call is the whole name. Cute alternatives cost bookings because a visitor scanning your page has to decode them first. The description should do the same work: what happens, how long, and that it costs nothing.
Protect the slot
Free sessions no-show at a higher rate than paid ones, so give this one the same protections as any other: a sensible minimum notice and reminders on. Both are covered in buffers, minimum notice, and booking windows and how to reduce no-shows. Add one to your page and it takes about a minute to set up.
