v0.14
Referral points and a read-only API
Invite other hosts to Schedulera and earn points for it, with a leaderboard to see how you rank against everyone else. Plus a first, read-only public API so you can pull your own booking types and availability into other tools.
NewRefer other hosts with your own link (built from your booking URL) and earn 1,000 points once they sign up and verify their email
NewEarn another 1,500 points once the person you referred finishes setting up their own booking page
NewA leaderboard on the new Referrals page shows the top referrers across Schedulera, with your own rank called out
NewGenerate API keys from Settings → Developer to read your booking types and availability from new read-only /api/v1 endpoints
ImprovedThe API docs at /docs and /openapi.json now describe exactly what is live, instead of endpoints that were never built
v0.13
Poll privacy, per-slot limits, and reminders
More control over scheduling polls. Cap how many people can pick a given time, hide the participant list from voters if you would rather they not see each other's answers, and let Schedulera send one automatic nudge to whoever has not responded. Your profile photo now also shows up on the voting page.
NewLimit how many people can pick a time per option; once it fills up, it is marked full and stops accepting new yes votes
NewHide the participant list from voters, so they see the times and vote counts but not who voted for what (you always see everyone)
NewNon-responders get one automatic reminder email, timed to three days after the invite or the day before your deadline
ImprovedYour profile photo now appears on the poll voting page next to your name
v0.11
Scheduling controls
Your calendar now protects itself. Keep a gap either side of a session so nothing runs back to back, stop people booking you an hour from now, decide how far ahead you can be booked, and block out a holiday without switching off a whole weekday. You can also split a day into a morning and an afternoon.
NewSet a buffer before and after a session so bookings are never back to back
NewRequire minimum notice, from an hour up to two days, so nobody books you at the last minute
NewChoose how far ahead you can be booked, from one week to a year
NewBlock a specific date off for a holiday, or give it different hours for the day
NewSplit a weekday into several time ranges, so you can offer mornings and afternoons but not lunch
ImprovedThe new rules apply everywhere: the booking page, reschedules, polls, recurring series, and the AI assistant
ImprovedThe date picker on your booking page stops at the end of your booking window instead of scrolling into empty months
ImprovedTimes that break your rules are refused when someone tries to book them, not just hidden
FixedThe AI scheduling assistant now reads your hours in your own timezone rather than UTC
v0.10.1
Poll invites and everyone-voted alerts
A poll used to be a link you had to chase people with yourself. Now you can list who should vote, Schedulera emails each of them, and it tells you the moment the last person answers so you can book the time.
NewAdd the people who should vote when you create a poll and each one gets emailed the link
NewThe poll shows who has answered and who you are still waiting on
NewWhen the last invited person votes, you get an email and a notification naming the leading time
NewInvite more people, nudge whoever is missing, or drop someone from a poll that is already running
ImprovedStart a poll straight from a session type on the booking page
ImprovedPeople who were invited but never voted are told the outcome when the time is booked
ImprovedForwarded links still work: anyone can vote, they just do not count against the invite list
v0.10
Scheduling polls
Finding a time that works for a group no longer means leaving Schedulera. Propose a few times that you are genuinely free, share one link, and let everyone vote yes, no, or if need be. Pick the winner and it becomes a real booking on your calendar, with everyone emailed automatically.
NewScheduling polls: propose several times for a group meeting and share a single link to collect votes
NewCandidate times are drawn from your real availability, so every option you offer is one you can actually make
NewVoters answer yes, no, or if need be per time, with no account needed
NewA results grid shows who picked what at a glance and highlights the time that suits the most people
NewPick the winner and Schedulera books it, creates the calendar event, and emails everyone who voted
NewSet a voting deadline and the poll closes itself, then tells you it is ready to book
ImprovedVoting again with the same email updates your answer instead of adding a second vote
ImprovedTimes on the voting page are shown in each voter's own timezone
ImprovedIf a proposed time gets booked while voting is open, it is flagged before you pick it
ImprovedDeleting a session type now explains when a poll is still using it, instead of failing without a reason
v0.9.1
More comparison and profession pages
New guides to help people find Schedulera. We added honest side-by-side comparisons against more scheduling tools, and dedicated pages for more professions. If you are weighing a switch or wondering whether Schedulera fits your line of work, there is now a page for it.
NewSix new comparison pages: Schedulera vs OnceHub, Appointlet, Bookwhen, vcita, Picktime, and Calendar.com
NewSix new profession pages: scheduling for nutritionists, life coaches, yoga instructors, financial advisors, cleaning services, and notaries
ImprovedComparison pages now lead with a clearer free alternative framing so they are easier to find in search
ImprovedThe Calendly alternatives guide now links to every comparison for easier browsing
v0.9
Companies, teams, and email outreach
Schedulera now works for businesses, not just individuals. Present your page as a company, invite teachers or staff to join your team with their own booking pages, and reach everyone from one place: compose templated emails to your students and contacts, add contacts manually, and import the people you already know from Google Contacts.
NewCompany accounts: present your public page as a business with your company name shown on the page, booking emails, reviews, and search results
NewTeams: invite teachers or staff by email; each gets their own login, calendar, and booking page, listed in a Book with our team section on your company page
NewEmail compose: send templated, personalized emails to selected students and contacts, with replies going straight to your inbox
NewSeven starter templates including session reminders, payment reminders, schedule changes, and announcements
NewGoogle Contacts import: connect once and pull the people you already know into your contacts, read-only and tagged for easy filtering
NewAdd contacts manually from the Contacts page
ImprovedStudents enrolled in recurring sessions now appear in your contacts automatically, tagged as students
ImprovedChoose person or company during onboarding, and switch any time in profile settings
v0.8
Students, recurring enrollments, and booking reliability
Built for teachers, coaches, and tutors: enroll a student once and every weekly session for the semester is scheduled automatically. Check students in after each session, jot down what happened, and keep track of who has paid. Under the hood, public booking got a major reliability pass: iCal feeds now properly block your slots, and requested times are validated against your real availability.
NewStudents: enroll someone for a recurring weekly session over a semester, term, or year, and every lesson is scheduled automatically with conflicts skipped and reported
NewSession check-in: mark each session attended or no-show with one tap
NewLesson notes: keep private per-session notes on what happened
NewPayment tracking: a simple paid or unpaid flag per session, with unpaid counts surfaced per student
ImprovediCal feed events (Apple Calendar, Outlook) now block public booking slots as intended
ImprovedHosts without Google Calendar connected now show real availability from their weekly hours
ImprovedBooking and reschedule requests are validated against your actual offered slots, preventing arbitrary times from being booked
FixedOverlapping double bookings are now prevented even when calendar event creation fails
FixedSigning out everywhere now takes effect within minutes instead of up to a week
v0.7.1
Polish pass and consistency fixes
This patch release focuses on the small details that make the product feel finished: a cleaner public header and footer, lighter CTA styling across pages, and a few warning-level cleanup fixes to improve reliability and maintainability.
ImprovedUnified the public brand header and footer across the homepage and linked pages for a consistent look
ImprovedUpdated the Get started free CTA section to use the lighter background treatment on all pages
FixedCleaned up warning-level issues in shared components and build helpers to keep the project healthier
v0.6.1
Scheduled automation is live
The background automation behind Schedulera now runs on its own every few minutes. Review invitations go out the morning after a session, session reminders arrive about an hour before, and your connected calendars stay in sync without you lifting a finger.
ImprovedReview-request emails now send automatically the morning after each session
ImprovedSession reminders are delivered about an hour before a booking starts
ImprovedGoogle Calendar and iCal feeds resync automatically every few minutes
v0.6
Contacts, reviews, notifications, and self-service booking changes
A big update to the post-booking experience. Everyone who books now lands in your Contacts list with notes and tags. Guests are invited to leave a review the morning after their session, and you choose which ones appear on your public page. A new notification center keeps you on top of bookings, and guests can reschedule or cancel on their own.
NewContacts: an auto-built directory of everyone who has booked with you, with booking history, searchable list, private notes, and tags
NewReviews: guests are emailed the morning after a session to leave a star rating and comment; approve the ones you want shown on your public booking page
NewNotification center with a header bell, an activity feed, and per-event email and in-app preferences
NewSelf-service cancel and reschedule: guests manage their own booking from a link in the confirmation email, freeing the slot and updating your calendar
NewPromote page: shareable booking link with a downloadable QR code, one-click social sharing, and trackable referral links
NewSession reminders sent about an hour before a booking starts
ImprovedScheduled jobs (calendar sync, reminders, review requests, onboarding) now run reliably every five minutes via a dedicated cron worker
ImprovedRow Level Security enabled on all database tables as defense in depth
v0.5

NewiCal feed subscriptions for Apple Calendar, Outlook personal, Notion, and any .ics URL with webcal:// support
